It is mostly useful to refer to treasure classes as 'TCXX' to quickly determinate what items can be dropped by monsters/chests. More familiarly we may refer to this as Diablo being only capable of dropping items upto TC84. This treasure class includes item-lists upto 'weap84' and 'armo84', while Sacred Armor is in 'armo87'. Diablo is mlvl=94 but can never drop Tyrael's Might since he drops from TC 'Diablo (H)' (or 'Diabloq (H)'). Simplified this determinates what can the monster drop and with what chances. Actually, treasure classes are named like 'Act1 Unique A' and such. This is often made simpler by just referring these as TC3 or TC6 and so on. To further confuse this whole affair are Treasure Classes. Super uniques including all bosses have pre-determinated monster levels. Most monsters have level equivalent of alvl, champions have alvl+2 and uniques and their minions have alvl+3. Poppables (such as chests) drop equivalent to alvl. Highest alvl is Arreat Summit at 87, but there are no monsters or poppables in there. Pits, WSK and AT are for example alvl 85. needs to be level 87 to drop it.Īlvl=area level. Tyrael's Might has for example a quality level of 87 which means that any monster/chest etc. This is the level that any monster/poppable needs to be to drop the item. This is determined by the monster or chest that drops the item. Ilvl=item level, this is the level that the item is. However, Amazon basin is probably the most up to date and best place to find information on where to go.
